Coach Matthew Stein
Coach Stein has been coaching high school basketball for over thirteen years. He just finished his ninth season as the head coach at Hopewell Valley Central High School. During his time at Hopewell Valley, they set the school record for most wins in a season (21 wins), finished as the top seed in the Mercer County Tournament, made it to the Mercer County Semi Finals at Cure Arena, and the finals of the Mercer County tournament. Along with their team success, they have also had a player lead the conference in scoring, players make the CYO - All Star Game, North vs South All Star game, Player of the Year, ALL CVC Teams, ALL Areas Teams, and continued playing in college. Coach Stein has won multiple coach of the year awards and has over 120 wins. Along with being the coach, he has also taught at Toll Gate Grammar School for eight years and currently teaches special education at the high school. He looks forward to working with your child and improving their skills!
Coach Jeffery Molinelli
Coach Jeff Molinelli has been part of Mercer County Basketball for over 27 years. He grew up in Lawrence where he took part in travel basketball and played in Trenton PAL. He moved to Hopewell in 7th Grade and played High School Basketball for the Bulldogs. Molinelli was a 1000 point scorer, made 1st team ALL CVC and ALL Area as a senior, was the CVC All Star Game MVP, and won the prestigious Jack Cryan Award. Molinelli was inducted in Hopewell Valley’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2015. Molinelli continued his playing career at the College career at TCNJ where he played for all four years and was named captain his senior year.
Molinelli has been coaching high school basketball in Mercer County for the past 15 years. Molinelli started his coaching career for Hopewell Valley Central High School as their freshman coach for a year before becoming the head coach at his Alma Mater. He left that position to become the Varsity boys basketball coach at Lawrence High School as he is a teacher at the high school. In Molinelli’s first season for the Cardinals, he helped lead Lawrence to the Central Jersey Group 3 championship. During his time at Lawrence, they set the school record for most wins in a season (21 wins), won the Central Group 3 sectional title, Valley Division Champions, and made it to the CVC tournament championship. Along with his team's success, he also had a player lead the conference in scoring, players make the CYO - All Star Game, Player of the Year, ALL CVC Teams, ALL Areas Teams, and continued playing in college. Molinelli has won Coach of the Year Award and currently has over 150 wins. He is very excited to work with Primetime athletics to be able to share the game he loves with young players from the area to help them work on their skills to help them become the best player they can be.
Coach Dana Williams
Dana Williams is the current Lawrence High School Girls Varsity Basketball Coach where she holds the record for the most wins in the program's history with a 20 win season in 2013. Coach Williams is a proud graduate of LHS where she was captain of both the soccer and basketball teams when she was a student-athlete. She went on to play soccer and basketball at Salisbury University in Maryland. Coach Williams is currently in her 18th year as a Health and PE teacher at Lawrence High School. She is also teaching a coaching course elective which she started at the high school. She is proud to have been named teacher of the year, mercer county coach of the year, and also to be an inductee to the LHS Athletic hall of fame throughout her career. Coach always strives to not only develop players technically and tactically to succeed in basketball, but also to help develop their character and work ethic to help them succeed in life. She takes pride in developing not only strong, confident athletes, but also “player coaches” to think the game at a high level as well. Coach Williams is so excited to run girls basketball camps again in Lawrence where she can help make a positive impact on all of the players that come through the gym!
